Phenolic Resin
Phenolic resin is a kind of synthetic plastic, colorless or yellowish brown transparent solid. It is also commonly known as bakelite because it is widely used in electrical equipment. It has excellent heat resistance, fire resistance, water resistance and insulation, good acid resistance, poor alkali resistance, good mechanical and electrical properties, and is easy to cut. It can be divided into thermosetting plastics and thermoplastic plastics. It is mainly used to manufacture various plastics, coatings, adhesives and synthetic fibers.
